Job Description


Co-facilitator, part-time (variable schedule – hours not guaranteed)

POSITION: Become a member of an excellent team as a co-facilitator for Effective Leadership Academy (ELA). ELA programs are geared toward middle and high school students with a rigorous curriculum for 21st Century Skills and address the critical issues that relate to social and emotional learning.


  • Assist the lead facilitator in delivery of ELA programs during the school year including; in-school programs and community sponsored
  • If available in the summer, assist in delivery and facilitation of ELA summer camps and Chamber Leadership Academy
  • Employ ELA divergent learning pedagogy, serving as “guide on the side,” to enable students to construct meaning from their
  • Form relationships with students and “build community,” motivating and inspiring them and giving them confidence to make positive choices in their lives for success in school and
  • Maintain positive relationships with students by providing guidance with behavior during program
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to
  • Attend all ELA training and when available, attend ELA
  • Collaborate with ELA staff on a variety of administrative tasks and special


The Co-facilitator role is part-time with a schedule of up to 25 hours per week. Hours are not guaranteed and are not the same each week but are scheduled in advance, based on the programs that ELA is facilitating within schools, and based on the availability of the co-facilitator.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-4 days of set availability during school hours, 8am – 4pm.

As ELA schedules programs, we will assign a co-facilitator, based on their availability, to assist with programs. This will be communicated via email and an online calendar. ELA will also occasionally utilize part-time facilitators to assist with larger projects in the office. Again, this time would be scheduled in advance and would be based on the co-facilitator’s availability.

  • Associates degree in education or associated
  • Experience working with diverse populations of students, middle and high school experience
  • Committed passion to making a difference in the lives of
  • Must have valid drivers license and reliable
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle a variable
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication
  • High energy and positive mental

  • Adheres to the ELA curriculum with fidelity, as well as all copyright and trademark

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly pay: $10 – $14/hour, based on experience level
