LEADS is a program for larger groups of middle school and high school students, addressing the need for enhanced success skill training for students in key leadership positions within their school environment.
The curriculum is tailored to focus on the skill priorities of the school and what administrators want to see developed in their students. ELA brings in its award-winning, interactive, school-based experiences, debriefing and analysis to help students understand how to apply critical 21st Century skills in their everyday lives. Some schools take the program a step further, culminating in a community or school-wide impact project.
The LEADS program is run with up to 50 middle school students or up to 100 high school students. LEADS consists of three, 2-hour sessions for middle school students and three, 3-hour sessions for high school students. Scheduling is flexible.
Another great addition is that LEADS is prefixed with your school name! (Ex: Strongsville LEADS, Oberlin LEADS, Warrensville LEADS)
I like that it got me to be all the things we learned in our tool-kit. I’m more open-minded, creative, I know myself better, and so much more. I loved interacting with all of you leaders!
I changed the way I look at people.
I LOVED this program, it really helped me change ME and shape me for real life, deeper situations! I’m so thankful I was selected to be a part of this program.
I usually don’t think outside the box, just listen to everyone – but this program changed that.
