Leading the way to cultural change

For adults:

Lead with Empathy is designed to guide schools and organizations through a series of interactive discussions focused on empathy and inclusion, empowering leaders to the development of an organizational action plan for improving culture.

For students:

Lead with empathy is designed to guide students in the development of a more inclusive school culture. ELA facilitates a series of interactive activities and discussion, empowering students to be change makers withing their school.

Program overview

This program consists of six sessions, with an optional 7th session for more in-depth action planning. Sessions can be condensed, combined, or customized to fit your scheduling needs.

Who is this program geared for?

This program is for district admin, board members, certified staff, classified staff, middle school and high school students. ELA can provide participants with certificates for CEU credits, upon request.

How long is the program?

For students, it can run as either 6 or 7 class sessions, depending on goals of the school.

For District administrators and/or teachers, the program is typically delivered in 6 – 7 hours, depending on the goals of the administrative team, and is scheduled to fit the needs of the team. We do not recommend scheduling the sessions to be shorter than 90-minutes.

What is the program cost?

The program cost will vary, dependent on the number of participants and sessions. For a classroom of up to 25 students, running 7 sessions, the average cost will be $4,000.

For a district team with about 40 participants, running a full 7 hours, the investment will be $7,000.

What program materials are included?

Participants receive a handout with key information and space to write for activities and reflection. Districts will receive a detailed impact report at the conclusion of the program that is created based on the qualitative and quantitative data collected from the pre- and post-survey.

District administrators and/or teachers participating in the program will receive access to a resource guide online which includes all program data from the analysis work that is done in the programs, access to videos, and the curriculum guide handout that is used during the program.
